Hotel El Coral

I could not find Restaurante El Coral on TripAdvisor but the hotel is here. I’m reviewing my experience at the restaurant. It is the slow season so very few people here in Punta Mita. I ordered the fish fillet diable. Arrived with mixed vegetables, rice and garlic bread. All were excellent The sauce was tasted and not too spicy. Vegetables were steamed perfectly. This restaurant is reasonably priced in comparison to the remainder of the main *****.

Very disappointing for the price. You can only book 2 nights minimum and I tried to cancel 2nd night immediately after check in but was unable. Reception was seeming sympathetic but unable to do anything. I offered to pay extra to upgrade to any other room but that was not posible. Room ( #7 ) had no table or night stands. It did have a mini fridge where I was able to put my purse. Blankets were dirty. A tiny window between the beds looked out on an empty lot with an abandoned shed. Lots of noise funnelled upwards because of the design of the lobby so plan for that. If the rate had been cheaper I would have expected lower category room so I was it a disappointing stay with no remedies for fix anything. On the positive - room was large and seemed clean also motion lights only came on when you used the stairs
